This is home base, with a view. Although it seems as though no matter where one lives in New Zealand you will have some beautiful scenery to look out at and admire.
The first night I arrived I could look up from the back deck and see stars as if I was out in the country. The milky way was right above me and incredible. Thank you Wellington for your minimal light pollution.
